According to Brittany Murphy’s mother and husband on the “Today” show, Brittany Murphy’s death is being ruled as natural causes. When they were asked if she used drugs, either prescription or recreational, they firmly denied there even being a chance! Her mother stated that Brittany was diagnosed with a heart murmur as a young teenager, which made Brittany have a very big fear of dying because of it.

There were many different kinds of prescription drugs found in Simon Monjack and Brittany Murphy’s house. Simon is openly saying that these drugs were his, since he suffers from many different kinds of illnesses including seizures.

During the interview Simon also had quite a few things to say about the rumors that Brittany Murphy was fired from a movie right before her death. He said that it was a mutual decision for her to leave the film. Brittany Murphy’s husband definitely seemed as though he feels there is someone to blame for his wife’s young death. He says that he believes that Hollywood broke her down and put her into a bad spot because they kept crushing her dreams.

Both Brittany’s mother and husband said that Brittany also refused to drink even caffeine because of her heart murmur. I too have a heart murmur and I can easily agree that anyone who cares about their health at all will avoid alcohol, drugs, and caffeine when you have a heart murmur. It is very scary to think that she was very careful and followed the rules of what to avoid and still died of natural causes at such a young age!

It is no surprise to hear that celebrities are real people with real illnesses too. However, I still always find it so sad to hear about anyone who is ill. Michael C Hall is known mostly for his role as Dexter Morgan on Showtime’s series Dexter.

Hall has now confirmed that he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He seems to have a great attitude on the issue though. ET reports that he calls the condition “treatable and curable.” They also report that a spokesperson for Hall told the AP that “Hall’s cancer is in complete remission and his treatment is ongoing.”

I always find it amazing when people can stay so positive after finding out they have cancer. I would love to think that I was so brave, but we never know until we are faced with it! As most of you know I am a HUGE fan of Dexter I think it is one of the best shows ever created. Therefore, I am very glad to hear that someone as talented as Michael Hall is dealing so well, and going to recover fully! YAY, now hopefully he can grow his career even more! He sure is talented!

For those of you who have not heard yet, the infamous Michael Vick won the Eagles Courage Award!! Now I am sure that just hearing this is quite shocking to many of you, it is to me as well. I understand that people can learn their lessons, and that they can change who they once were. However, this man just got out of jail and just started playing football again, how is it that he is the best player to represent courage for the Philadelphia Eagles?

This is ESPN’s description of the award; “Given annually, the award honors NFL players who exemplify commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage. Recipients are selected in a vote by their teammates for team effort as well as individual performance.”

So while watching the latest episode of DJ AM’s show “Gone Too Far” I realized that his death occurred while he was still filming this show. This was something that was never really clarified before. It was mentioned that they believed the relapse that caused his death was due in part to the show, but I did not realize that while filming in the middle of helping one pregnant girl get sober before the birth of her second child he passed away.

As I mentioned before it was reported that DJ AM was having a hard time dealing with some aspects of doing this show. It was reported that DJ AM began to struggle quite a bit when he purchased drugs to try to prove to one family how easy it was for their daughter to get her desired drugs. This was never shown on any episode of his show, “Gone Too Far” which airs on MTV. In the last episode that has aired for his show there was a young girl named Megan who he was trying to convince to get help for her meth addiction because she was 7 months pregnant. He seemed to be in a great mindset while filming this show. He used his experiences to prove to Megan that she could get help, and that there was hope of a great life. He also said many times that she must be at her rock bottom because she is doing drugs while pregnant, his many comments on this issue really made me believe that he was still very strong in his convictions against drugs. I was very shocked while watching the show when suddenly Megan says her adviser in rehab told her that DJ AM died.

As I am sure many of you have heard by now Brittany Murphy passed away today. As reported by TMZ this morning there was a 911 call placed from her home at 8:00 AM. Her mother found her unresponsive in the shower. When paramedics arrived they did attempt CPR, and continued to attempt CPR all the way to the hospital. She was pronounced dead at 10:04 AM at the hospital. It is said that she died from Cardiac Arrest, but there is an investigation into her death by LAPD. It was reported also that when Murphy’s mother called 911 she told them that her daughter has been battling with diabetes but it has not been confirmed if that is true, or if it played any role in her death.

While I was reading some of the many reports on her death I ran across an article from 21 days ago that Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack, a screenwriter and producer, was rushed to the hospital after his plane landed. According to AOL’s report of this incident EMT’s were very concerned by Monjack’s unresponsive behavior while Murphy thought that there was nothing to be concerned about. She believed that he was having an asthma attack, but they believed it was something more serious. It is also believed that Murphy and Monjack were coming back from Puerto Rico on this flight because she was fired from her film “The Calling” for being too big of a problem for production team.

So am I the only person that is just completely shocked by the arrest and new allegations of molestation against Shane Sparks? Of course I only know him from the TV shows that he was on, but I still am just so shocked by these charges.

For those of you who are not familiar with Shane Sparks he is a very famous Hip Hop dancer, teacher and choreographer. He is a judge on MTV’s hit show “America’s Best Dance Crew” and has guest starred on “So you think you can dance?” as a guest choreographer. He still teaches dance classes at Millennium Dance School, where he met his alleged victim.

Fox News 11 says that all accounts are with one victim but that “he is charged with being 9 counts including; 4 counts of lude conduct with a minor under 14 years of age, 2 counts of sexual intercourse with a 14 or 15 year old and, 2 counts of oral copulation with a 14 or 15 year old.” Fox News 11 also said that the crimes occurred between 1994 and 1997, and that it was one of his dance students.

Of course if he was abusing his power as an instructor then action must be taken, and he must face the consequences of his actions. However, I am pretty surprised by how old these charges are. He has been in the spotlight for many years, so why is it that LA County DA did not chose to bring charges until fifteen years later? Was there a lack of evidence in the past, if so will this hold up in court?

I find it very sad that Tiger Woods sleeping around still tops the news, even above an alleged child molester!!

Oh goodness, here we go again! If it’s one thing it is another! I understand that even I said that a celebrity should be held at higher standards than the average person, but I did say that they only should if they choose to make their personal lives public! Why does everyone think that because they choose to support a celebrity or athlete that they now have a right to dig into all of their personal business? I just read an article saying that Tiger Woods sells products so therefore; anyone who buys his products now deserves to know all of the details about his personal issues with his wife this past week! I think that this is the most absurd thing that I have ever heard!

Excuse me Mr. Writer Sir, but if your wife goes crazy over rumors of your infidelity are you going to write up articles and submit them to every reader of yours? In reality we pay your salary, so according to your irrational rants about Mr. Woods we have every right and deserve to know all intimate details of your personal issues! If a car accident happens on personal property there is nothing that a community police officer can do without the owner of the personal property requesting charges to be filed. He is taking care of his own business, and I think like a very responsible husband and father! I do not think that because you higher an attractive woman to work with you that that is proof of guilt for your inability to stay faithful to your wife. I also do not think that you should fuel the fires and tabloids for your family to have to deal with! If you are a cheater, or your wife abuses you, you have EVERY right to deal with it in a personal manner if you believe that is best for you!

POWER 105.1's POWERHOUSE Concert

While looking around and catching up on other blogs today I saw a few different things about the whole Chris Brown and Rihanna situation. One statement that Chris Brown made to PEOPLE Magazine really got to me. He told PEOPLE Magazine that he knows that he will never allow himself to lose control again. Well Mr. Brown you also claim that you do not remember losing control and that you blacked out for the whole incident. If you do not know how you got to the point of beating your girlfriend then how on earth are you so positive that you can just stop it from ever happening again?

I have steered clear of most of this talk, because I honestly am not sure how I feel about the whole media frenzy. I really never thought that Rihanna would be so open with this situation. I thought that it would be ignored or denied until it was forgotten. I never expected her to do tell all interviews that are for sure! I am not saying that she is wrong, but it is really hard to grasp at the fact that something so horrific became such a media frenzy and is still continuing to be one!

This is what Whoopi Goldberg asked former Miss California Carrie Prejean on “The View” earlier this week. I would like to say it is about dang time this girl was asked this! All she says over and over again is constant excuses about her past and accusations that someone else is to blame. Who on earth is little Miss Prejean to think that she has every right to judge everyone else while always pulling the victim card when she is questioned.

Oh boy, talk about living in your own world of insanity! I don’t understand why so many people think that they have a right to judge another! Everyone who knows me knows that I am pro- making all of your own choices! Well let me rephrase that I am pro making all of your own choices when it comes to your own life! You can choose to hate whatever you want, and make a fool out of yourself! You, however, never have a right to ruin others’ days, lives, and emotions!

So here I am once again saying, learn how to have respect to others! Miss Prejean if you have the right to make your own child pornography (made a self service sex tape at 17) then other person has their right to be in a loving committed relationship with whatever sex they desire! And if you have the right to go all over the entertainment industry and tell everyone how to live their lives and tell them they are living their lives wrong then expect for some to dislike your “wise words” when you are stuttering and cannot even form a sentence! Not to mention the fact that you are running around bad mouthing homosexuals while your sister is an avid supporter! Clearly your parents didn’t raise all idiots, so stop thinking that you are so empowered that you can tell millions of others how to live their lives!
